Football is more than just a game. It’s about teamwork, resilience and feeling part of something. Our football sessions give young people with additional needs the chance to learn new skills, grow in confidence and build lasting friendships in a safe and inclusive space.
After a summer break, Allsorts football is back this September, running every Monday evening (term time) at Archway School field.

Football Club (11-25 years)
- A competitive and energetic session for ambulant young people who want to enjoy the challenge of matches, teamwork and build up their skills.
Recreational Football (5+ years)
- A fun and friendly session designed to get younger children moving, having fun and enjoying the game together.
Both sessions are welcoming, inclusive and all about making sure every young person feels they belong.
Dan’s story: Finding friendship and confidence
For many of our members, football is about so much more than sport. Dan, who plays in our football club, shared how important it has become for him:
“Football is definitely something I look forward to. It’s a really fun thing to do on the Mondays and makes me express myself. Everybody gets on and we train hard but also chill out and have fun. I’ve met a lot of friends here and it’s definitely made me open up. The coaches are very supportive and focus on what we need to do and have fun.”
Dan, age 22

How you can help
These sessions are only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters. Just £5 a month could help us keep activities like football running for young people who need them most.
By donating, you’ll be part of our Allsorts village, helping to provide accessible everyday activities that make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs in Gloucestershire.
