What’s on at Allsorts – the post-lockdown return of sports and fitness sessions, connecting to other parent carers with crafts, walks and zooms this December, small youth group sessions at Allsorts.
We are following government guidance around permitted activities. Our sports clubs are able to return and small support group activities for parents and carers can go ahead next month.
YOUTH CLUBS AND YOUNG ADULTS
At the Allsorts Activity Hub (Brunel Mall, Stroud)
NEW Stroud Young Adults ‘Friday Night Take Away Club’ (ages 18-25)
Fridays at 5pm-6.45pm
Open to 4-6 young people at a time, supported as a group to socially distance. In the club we might have a gaming corner, music and karaoke with the main focus of having a take away, chosen by the young people.
Youth Club Sessions (ages 6-18)
Saturdays at 1-2.30pm & 3-4.30pm:
Open to two children at a time. An opportunity to play, use the sensory room, get crafty and interact in a safe way with one other child (both are assisted by support workers).
Zoom Hang Outs!
Stroud Young Adults Zoom Call on Tuesdays at 4.30-5.10pm
Tewkesbury Young Adults Zoom Call on Wednesdays at 5-5.40pm
Zoom calls are free, Friday Night Take Away is £10 subs and Saturday Youth Club Sessions are £5 per child. Contact Dee for more information or to book on.
Special access to Westonbirt Arboretum for Allsorts members – last chance!
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November
We have a limited number of parking spaces for Allsorts members to enter the arboretum via the staff cark park, avoiding the busy main entrance and allowing a flexible entry time. We will offer more dates soon but a final few bookings are available for this weekend – book with [email protected] before 2pm today.
Christmas Sensory Play Sessions
Fridays and Saturdays throughout December
At Allsorts, Brunel Mall, Stroud
Almost fully booked with just a couple of Friday morning sessions now available – but you can still be added to our waiting list for cancellations.
Email [email protected] to book your Friday session or join the waiting list for exclusive use of our bright, clean Christmassy play space including a super sensory room and video message from Father Christmas.
The Toy Library remains open for lending
Reserve toys or equipment online and collect them the following week, allowing us time to clean and prepare your toys. Wednesday 9th and Tuesday 15th December at Westonbirt Arboretum
Meet other parents and toddlers in this small group setting outside in the fresh air for fun and support. Contact Clarissa for details.
Siblings Group Christmas Party
By Zoom on Friday 10th December at 5pm
Hang out with the siblings of children with additional needs at this monthly group where the focus is on fun and friendship. Our group are aged around 8-10 years and decide which fun challenges and games to play each month.

Get together with other parents for some socially distant, small group Christmas crafting guided by a professional artist.
Parent Carer coffee and catch up

Get together for regular chats and support with other Allsorts members.
Christmas Walks at Westonbirt Arboretum
Friday 4th and Wednesday 16th December
Small and socially distant parent carer walks in beautiful surroundings.
Christmas jumpers and flasks of hot chocolate optional! Booking essential due to group size.

HEALTH AND FITNESS

We reintroduce face to face fitness and clubs from Monday 7th December but have one more week of online fitness so that you can stay active and have fun with Allsorts at home!

All sessions at 4.30-5.30pm, with the exemption of yoga which is 3.30-4.10pm & 4.20-5.00pm.
We welcome a voluntary donation of £4 per session, apart from yoga which is £7.50 per session (when block booked or £9.00 for pay and play bookings).
