What’s on at Allsorts from Friday 11th December 2020

We follow government guidance around permitted activities and are happy to discuss our safety precautions and group sizes.  We understand that cancellations are more inevitable than ever at this time and will be very flexible if your plans change at short notice.  

NEW! Flamingo Chicks Dance Classes – free taster sessions!
Saturday 12th December
10.15 – 11.00am
Archway School, Stroud
These fun inclusive dance classes are suitable for under 16s. Members aged 16+ can try a taster session during the Saturday Young Adults Groups.
6 more free taster sessions to follow in the New Year, both face-to-face and Zoom!

Family Fitness 
Location: Archway School, Stroud

Fitness by Zoom :

  • £4 – join Dan Bennett for mixed martial arts on Thursdays: 4.30-5.20pm.  Action packed full of fun fitness moves and games. Suitable for all ages and beginners!
  • £7.50  – join Claudia for weekly Yoga Classes on Saturdays: 3.30pm for those who can stand and sit and lie, 4.20pm for those who can sit and lie.

At the Allsorts Activity Hub (Brunel Mall, Stroud)

NEW Stroud Young Adults ‘Friday Night Take Away Club’ (ages 18-25)
Fridays at 5pm-6.45pm
Open to 4-6 young people at a time, supported as a group to socially distance. In the club we might have a gaming corner, music and karaoke with the main focus of having a take away, chosen by the young people.

Youth Club Sessions (ages 6-18)
Saturdays at 1-2.30pm & 3-4.30pm:
Open to two children at a time. An opportunity to play, use the sensory room, get crafty and interact in a safe way with one other child (both are assisted by support workers).

Zoom Hang Outs!
Stroud Young Adults Zoom Call on Tuesdays at 4.30-5.10pm
Tewkesbury Young Adults Zoom Call on Wednesdays at 5-5.40pm

Zoom calls are free, Friday Night Take Away is £10 subs and Saturday Youth Club Sessions are £5 per child. Contact Dee for more information or to book on.


Westonbirt Arboretum Family Visits
Special access for Allsort members – avoid the timed entry system and busy main car park and turnstiles by booking with Allsorts.  You will have a space in the staff car park and can arrive anytime during opening hours – a calmer way to access the arboretum on busy days.

Christmas Sensory Play Sessions
Fridays and Saturdays throughout December

Almost fully booked now – email [email protected] to book a Friday session or join the waiting list for other dates to enjoy exclusive use of our bright, clean Christmassy play space including a super sensory room and video message from Father Christmas.

The Toy Library remains open for lending
Reserve toys or equipment online and collect them the following week, allowing us time to clean and prepare your toys. Click here to see the socially distanced borrowing process or email [email protected] to chat with Toy Library manager Andrew Voss who can recommend toys and help you book them out.

Grandparents Group 
Monday 14th December 10.30-11.30am
Our grandparents group meet on the second Monday of the month by zoom.  We also meet a couple of times a month in very small groups for a walk around Westonbirt arboretum. New members always welcome. Contact Clarissa for details.

Small and socially distant parent carer walks in beautiful surroundings.
Christmas jumpers and hot chocolate optional! Booking essential due to group size.
