The fantastic runners of Rigs and Runs took to the streets on Christmas Eve, in their best festive gear, to complete a marathon – and they did it all to raise money for Allsorts. Their incredible effort raised £645, helping us create more opportunities for disabled children and their families.
Ben Cole and Frazer Holroyd, founders of Rigs and Runs, shared: “Every year we run a Marathon around the Stroud district, cladded in our best Christmassy attire. In previous years, we have been asked by passers-by if we are raising money for a charity.
“This year we decided, although we do this annual run for fun, it would be a great opportunity to raise money for a charity we think does some amazing work in the local area. Allsorts is a brilliant charity that does fantastic work supporting families with a disabled child.”
Julie Sarahs, Community and Events Fundraiser said: “It’s heartwarming to see people in the community rally around Allsorts in such a fun way. Thank you, Team Rigs and Runs!”
