Allsorts hosts regular Monday morning (9:45am-12pm) Parent and Carer Support Workshops delivered by guest speakers.
Workshops support parents at each stage of their child’s development from early years through to young adults.
The next batch of Parent and Carer Workshops begins in March. This term is focused on guidance for parents/carers of tweens, teens and young adults.
During these sessions, members will have the opportunity to meet other parents in a similar situation and share experiences over coffee.
- Monday 3rd March 9:45am-12pm – Jacky Martel, Access Social Care – ‘Adult and Social Care – it doesn’t have to be a cliff edge’
- Monday 17th March 9:45am-12pm – ‘Beezee Healthy Lifestyle Workshop’
- Monday 24th March 9:45am-12pm – ‘Disabled Children’s Service, Gloucestershire County Council’
- Monday 31st March 9:45am-12pm – Jessica Beddows, Irwin Mitchell – ‘Wills and Trust Funds Overview’
9.45am: Arrivals and refreshments
10am-11.30am: Facilitators deliver workshops
11.30am-12pm: Tea/coffee/chat
Sessions cost £3 per person

Parent and carer workshops are primarily, child free sessions, should you need to bring a child, contact the office to find out whether we can make an exception.

The families team offer emotional support as well as information and signposting to other organisations which can help you and your child.
Should you require emotional support or signposting, please call our office on 01453 750474 to be put through to the families team or arrange a drop in to one of our Stay and Play sessions, where our team will be available to talk.
