Allsorts Parent Trustee

Why do we need you?

Members have always played an important role on our board of trustees. Giving valuable insight and offering personal experiences helps us with key decision making and determining directional growth of the charity.

We are currently seeking two or three new members who can bring their experience of using Allsorts activities to the board. We are keen to recruit enthusiastic members of any age and background to strengthen the board of trustees.

We are looking for someone who is personable and a team player and keen to commit to the charity’s aims and further progression.

The voluntary role offers you the chance to use your skills and energy to help vulnerable and disadvantaged people in our community. It also provides board experience for your own professional development.

Most of the role can be performed remotely and out of office hours. You will be required to attend a board meeting lasting around 2 hours on one evening each month. These meetings are currently held virtually but may take place at the Allsorts Activity Hub in the future.

Due to the nature of this role you will be required to complete a DBS form and provide referees.

You will have the opportunity to learn more about the role informally before making any commitments.
