Do you fancy messing about on the water? Sailability are experienced in facilitating fun for families to get out on the lakes in a range of specially adapted small boats.
Parent Carers must sail with their children (at least one adult carer per boat).
Family members who just want to watch can book a spectator ticket.
There are 3 time slots: 10am-11.30am; 12pm-1.30pm or and 2-3.30pm – you are currently looking at the 12pm session.

£3 per spectator (watching from the lakeside picnic area)
£20-45 per boat. Prices below but before booking tickets, please read this link to Boat Choices to help chose the vessel that best suits your family’s size and needs.
- £45 to hire the Lugger: a sailboat suitable for a family of 4 or 5
- £25 to hire the Venture: an adapted sailing boat with supportive seating ideal for w/c users and suitable for a family of 2 or 3
- £25 to hire the Wayfarer: a dingy style boat suitable for a family of 2 or 3
- £20 to hire the HANSA 303: an adapted boat steered with a joy stick and suitable for a family of 2 (NB No helmsperson on board, you steer with a joy stick and verbal assistance from a helmsperson sailing alongside)
Most of the boats have a Sailability Helmsperson on board to steer you and teach you some basic skills, or you can sit back and just enjoy the ride. The Hansa 303 is the only boat without a helmsperson onboard.
Waterside hoisting is available, please bring your own sling.
Adult changing facilities are available.
