Thank you to those who have shared and donated to our Crisis Appeal. It has raised an incredible £11,785 to date and we’re still receiving donations and kind messages. This really cements how powerful our community is and what amazing things we can achieve together.
Keeping Allsorts safe
We understand that it might have been difficult to read about our current situation. This is your charity and it’s important that we’re honest with you. We will continue to share updates and will do everything we can to keep Allsorts safe.
How donations will be spent
Some of you have asked what donations for the Crisis Appeal will be spent on. Our £20,000 per month target covers salaries of the existing core team who are providing emotional support to families, digital fitness and keeping the charity running. To protect our Toy Library we still need to cover rent and bills.
The current picture
Due to the wonderful generosity of our members and supporters, we find ourselves in a better position than we were in two weeks ago and we hope to continue this upward pattern. We’d also like to thank the Edward Gostling Foundation, Stroud Town Council, Cotswold Primrose Trust, Gloucestershire Community Resilience Fund and Gloucestershire Community Foundation for their generous support.
We will be launching new fundraising initiatives over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for our communications. Once again, thank you for your support.
Best wishes
Jane Jones
Interim Chief Executive
