We’re thrilled to announce that Allsorts has received a generous £5000 grant from the Griffiths Marshall Foundation.
This funding will directly support our specialised swimming lessons held at National Star College – an activity that brings joy, fitness and an essential life skill to the children and families we support.
This contribution from the Griffiths Marshall Foundation – a newly established charitable body championing the needs of children and young people in Gloucestershire – marks a milestone as Allsorts becomes the very first recipient of its grant programme.

Nuala Beardsall, a trustee of the Griffiths Marshall Foundation, said: “The Griffiths Marshall Foundation were thrilled to visit the Allsorts headquarters, to meet the staff and present them with a cheque for £5000. This grant will go towards Allsorts being able to provide specialised swimming lessons for the children they help, which are a key means for them to exercise, learn life skills and have fun.
“These swimming lessons, which take place at National Star College, have proved a massive success for the children and their families, and the Griffiths Marshall Foundation is delighted to help ensure that such an important pastime can continue to take place. Keep up the fantastic work Allsorts!”

Rachael Fletcher, Head of Fundraising and Corporate Partnerships, emphasised: “The Allsorts team is deeply honoured to be the first recipient of The Griffiths Marshall Foundation Grant. This generous funding will support the continued success of our highly popular swimming programme, which offers incredible benefits to the children we support.
“Swimming is not only an excellent form of exercise but also a powerful tool for addressing obesity, reducing isolation and fostering healthy, active lifestyles. Remarkably inclusive, it is a sport accessible to those with the most complex disabilities, making a profound difference in their lives.”
