The Allsorts team are pleased to launch the new Toy Library Delivery and Collection Service. From 25th June Allsorts members will be able to order items from our Toy Library and book either a delivery or collection slot. We have tried to make this as simple as possible and will be able to help with any stage of this process. We want to make sure Allsorts members can get access to the things they need. We have a range of specialist equipment, sensory items, activity toys and resources for home schooling.
Booking
We use an online lending library which allows you to view and reserve items. If you haven’t used this before then please email [email protected] and we’ll get you added as a user. We have created a video to show you how to reserve an item using the online system. Click here for the video.
If you have a strong preference not to use the online system but would still like to borrow items, then please contact us and we can reserve items on your behalf.
If you would like to borrow items but aren’t sure what would be suitable or you feel overwhelmed by the choice, we can put a box together based on what your child/young person likes. Please just get in touch.
There will be no charge for borrowing items at this time. Instead we are asking for donations if you are able to afford it.

In the first week, orders will close on Thursday 2nd July for the following week. You can still place an order after this date but it will be scheduled for delivery or collection w/c 13th.
Delivery
If you are shielding or you would find making the journey to our Toy Library difficult, then we are happy to deliver to you. Once reserving your items, you’ll receive a call from us to arrange a suitable time.
Collection
If you can collect your items from the Toy Library we will arrange a 1 hour collection slot where you either come into the Toy Library to pick up your items, or we can bring them out to your car in the London Road Multi Storey Car Park, Stroud.
Returns
We will contact you to arrange getting the items back to the Toy Library. You may have items on loan from before lockdown. This is not a problem and you won’t be charged but we’d like to try and get them back to the Toy Library as soon as possible. Please get in touch so we can arrange a drop off or collection so other families can benefit from them.
Keeping you safe
We have been working hard to make sure we limit contamination between surfaces and people wherever we can. This includes:
- Working to a strict cleaning regime of toys, equipment and the Toy Library
- Maintaining vigorous and regular hand washing/sanitizing
- Packing reserved toys and equipment into boxes or plastic where items do not fit into boxes
- Leaving packed items for a minimum of 72 hours before delivery or collection
- Using single use gloves for delivery and wearing masks if 2m social distancing is not possible
