Allsorts for families in November

We are pleased to confirm that there will still be a calendar of activity, with face to face and Zoom options during November. Let’s keep active, happy and healthy together.

Play Sessions
Play Sessions will be going ahead as planned every Friday and Saturday throughout November. We have lots of availability on Fridays and a waiting list for Saturdays. To read more about Play Sessions or to book on, click here

Sport, Health and Fitness
Sadly all face to face sports provision has been paused, but we will update you if guidance on this changes. The new Zoom timetable looks like this:

Monday – Football Club Zoom
Tuesday – Family Fitness Fun
Wednesday – Zoom Sports
Thursday – Mixed Martial Arts
Saturday – Yoga

All sessions will take place from 4.30-5.30pm, with the exemption of yoga which is 3.30-4.10pm & 4.20-5.00pm. We welcome a voluntary donation of £4 per session, apart from yoga which is £7.50 per session (when block booked or £9.00 for pay and play bookings). Contact Max for more information or to book on.

Youth Clubs
Youth Clubs will also continue via Zoom and face to face, with a new addition to the calendar – Friday Night Take Away Club.

Zoom Hang Outs!
Come and chat, sing, do show and tell – whatever takes the group’s fancy! It’s always lots of fun.

Tuesday, 4.30-5.10pm: Stroud Young Adults Zoom Call (ages 6-18)
Wednesday, 5-5.40pm: Tewkesbury Young Adults Zoom Call (18-25)

Youth Clubs at the Allsorts Activity Hub (Toy Library, Stroud)

Friday from 13th November, 5-6.45pm: NEW Stroud Young Adults ‘Friday Night Take Away Club’ (ages 18-25). This club is open to 4-6 young people at a time, supported as a group to socially distance. In the club we might have a designated gaming corner, music and karaoke with the main focus of having a take away, chosen by the young people.

Saturday, 1-2.30pm & 3-4.30pm: Youth Club Sessions (ages 6-18) open to two children at a time. An opportunity to play, use the sensory room, get crafty and interact in a Covid secure way with one other child (both are assisted by support workers).

Zoom calls are free, Friday night take away is £10 subs and Saturday Youth Club Sessions are £5 per child. Contact Dee for more information or to book on.

Parent and Carer Support
All advice surgeries and Friday Coffee and Catch Ups will still be going ahead, now via Zoom. Unfortunately our craft sessions have been cancelled and we’re waiting to hear about our Westonbirt walk and talks. Please check the calendar for specific dates and email Clarissa to book on.

It might come as a shock that we are allowed to continue with some face to face activities. Youth Clubs and Play Sessions are both considered ‘short breaks’ deeming them essential services. We are happy to be able to offer these much-needed activities but we know they won’t be for everyone. Be assured that we will keep on top of infection control and will strictly adhere to our Covid Risk Assessment.

Please contact us if you wish to discuss anything in this email.

With best wishes
