6 – 8s Club

Often children with a disability aren’t able to attend groups such as Cubs or Rainbows. This Club gives younger children the opportunity to leave their parents or carers for a couple of hours, exploring their independence while having fun.

The Club runs alongside our Toy Library, which is located in the room next door. This gives parents a place to stay and have coffee and cake if they would prefer to be close by.

Children can move to on to our Youth Clubs once they’re ready to be in a larger club with older children.

Who is this for?
Any child with a disability aged six to eight.

How much is it?
£4 per session

When and where is it?
One Saturday a month at 10am – 12pm.
The Trinity Rooms, Field Road, Stroud, GL5 2HZ

  • “It was such a relief to take my son to fun activities and feel he could be accepted for who he was and get such a warm welcome and support.”

  • “I spend fun days cooking tasty treats and eating them, crazy art works I wouldn’t do at home. We go on exciting trips out but the bestest part is the staff who guarantee me lots of laughing!”

  • “Thank you so much for giving us the trampolining opportunity. My daughter hasn’t stopped talking about it all evening!”
