What’s on at Allsorts – taking our fitness sessions online, small youth group sessions and parent carer Christmas crafting.
We are following government guidance around permitted activities. Our sports clubs have gone back online for now, whilst some of our in person activities are able to continue eg play sessions and support groups.
YOUTH CLUBS AND YOUNG ADULTS
At the Allsorts Activity Hub (Brunel Mall, Stroud)
NEW Stroud Young Adults ‘Friday Night Take Away Club’ (ages 18-25)
Weekly on Fridays at 5pm-6.45pm
Open to 4-6 young people at a time, supported as a group to socially distance. In the club we might have a gaming corner, music and karaoke with the main focus of having a take away, chosen by the young people.
Youth Club Sessions (ages 6-18)
Saturdays at 1-2.30pm & 3-4.30pm:
Open to two children at a time. An opportunity to play, use the sensory room, get crafty and interact in a safe way with one other child (both are assisted by support workers).

Tewkesbury Young Adults Zoom Call on Wednesdays at 5-5.40pm
Zoom calls are free, Friday Night Take Away is £10 subs and Saturday Youth Club Sessions are £5 per child. Contact Dee for more information or to book on.
Special access to Westonbirt Arboretum for Allsorts members – now including all weekends throughout November!
We have a limited number of parking spaces for Allsorts members to enter the arboretum via the staff cark park, avoiding the busy main entrance and allowing a flexible entry time. Contact [email protected] for booking info.

Wow – we emailed our members with the dates and what a response! Only a few Friday morning sessions are still available, but you can be added to our waiting list for cancellations.

The Toy Library remains open for lending
Reserve toys or equipment online and collect them the following week, allowing us time to clean and prepare your toys. Meet other parents in this small group setting outside in the fresh air for fun and support. Support groups are still permitted to meet and we are happy to discuss any queries about our small group size and social distancing measures.

Hang out with the siblings of children with additional needs at this monthly group where the focus is on fun and friendship. Our group are aged around 8-10 years and share a love of lego, quizzes, show & tell and yet more lego!

We postponed the in person, artist led session this month and instead we’re getting together for an informal, fun. festive session in which you can chat with other parents as you work on your own craft project at home. We will share simple craft ideas using easily available materials.

Get together with other parents for some socially distant, small group Christmas crafting guided by a professional artist.
Self Care Workshop – Awareness, Balance and Connection
Tuesday 24th November 7-8.30pm by Zoom
If you often put everyone else first and run out of time for yourself, join other parent carers for a look at the ABC of self care. In this workshop run by Gloucestershire Carers Hub, we’ll be learning about the importance of Awareness, Balance and Connection and taking a moment to think about the needs of the carers.

Get together for regular chats and coffee with other Allsorts parent carers.
Walk and Talk Group
First Friday of the month at 10.30am – next walk on 4th December
