Stuart Jones from Tetbury has decided to take on two 100 mile bike rides to raise money for Allsorts. This is a huge challenge as the rides will take place within two weeks of each other! After successfully completing the 100mile Chipping Sodbury Sportive last year, he now wants to up his game and has signed up to do the 100mile ride again followed by the Dyson 100 mile charity ride 2 weeks later! The first ride will take place on 13th August.
Stuart says: “I thought doing this kind of challenge would be a good way of raising some money and awareness for a local charity. My wife and and I have 2 girls and whilst they do not have any disabilities, it does make me appreciate just how important it is for children to have the right start in life. My wife works as a paediatric occupational therapist and so the difficulties families with disabilities face has always been near our conscious. And whilst my wife helps in a very direct way I like to try and do what I can in other ways.”
Thank you Stuart, we’re all rooting for you!
